Biyashan scenic coffee house

Biyashan scenic coffee house is situated on the edge of the Jiaobanshan park plateau in Fuhsing township. You can see the Sikou suspension bridge and Dahan river valley. The scene here resembles the Sikou plateau in Chiang Kai-shek’s ancentral home in Zhejiang, China. The coffee house provides basic meals, coffee and various beverages. Have a cup of coffee here, enjoy the clean air with the sounds of bird and insects and feel yourself relax in the quiet of nature.

TUBA church

Taiwo, situated between Fuhsing township and Daxi is one of the areas where the Atayal tribe live. The TUBA church is their center of faith where countless Atayal people were enlightened. Taiwo is on the border of Taoyuan and Taipei county - you can reach Sanxia township in Taipei county from Taiwo. In the early development of nothern Taiwan, people followed Tamsui river upstream to Daxi, and Sanxia was a midway river port in Dahan river. The early pioneers pushed into the “wild lands” of the mountains from Daxi and Sanxia. The Atayal people in Taiwo were former residents of Taipei county during those times.

The Atayal people in Taiwo were mostly in poor financial situation and had no money to build anything, so the elders initiated self-help program, where the tribe people went to the rivers to quarry stones to be used as construction material. The old Sanming church is not only the center of faith for the Atayal people in Taiwo, but also the venue where they carry out tranditional activities.

Xiao Wulai skywalk

The Xiao Wulai skywalk is in Fuhsing township. It is a walkway seventy meters above the base of Xiao Wulai waterfall, providing a glass platform that gives visitors a 360 degree view of the Xiao Wulai valley and waterfall. It is eleven meters long, and is built next to the Fengdongshi. At a mere cost of 50NTD, you will be able to challenge your courage and senses seventy meter in the air where you can have a 360 degree view of your surroundings.

Jiaobanshan saiqin pavilion

The pavilion next to the Jiaobanshan guesthouse was frequently used by Chiang Kai-shek as it provided views that were similar to his ancestral home in China. After his passing, his son, Chiang Ching-kuo often came here from Cihu during the period of mourning to commemorate him. An assay by Chiang Ching-kuo in memory of his father arose from these visits. The river terrace terrain from by Dahan river turning can be seen from the pavilion, and the mountain view on a sunny day is soothing and relaxing.

Records of the Atayal tribe history, culture, as well as records of the arts, culture, geographay, history of Fuhsing township are kept here. The historical materials combined with the multi-media exhibits provide a rich cultural experience.

Ta Shee Blooming Oasis

Flowers fill the seventeen hectare farm! In the purple fantasy area, lavender, sage and other purple colored plants fills an area almost two hectare in size. In the rainbow fields, flowers of different colors are planted in strips, creating a rainbow like effect, which these changes with the passing of the seasons. The thousand grace area contains a variety of shrub species. Finally, the Heaven’s hill has a tree set in the midst of a field of flowers, which has been used as the opening shot of a TV series. You don’t need to go abroad to experience something different. A day-trip to Ta Shee Blooming Oasis will do!
